Look at you frolicking in the woods with a unicorn 🦄 I love it 🥰
I got interested in the story of the Pendle witches after reading Terry Pratchett’s Good Omens, which has great characters like Agnes Nutter and Anathema Device…he tackled a sobering topic with his usual hilarious satire that entertains while giving pause for thought, just like this wonderful post. Thanks Melanie, never stop frolicking with magic ✨☺️
THANK YOU for that Terry Pratchett reference! I’d uncovered that fact when I was researching and wanted to share it with my 2 eldest granddaughters because they’re fans of his. But I got confused and said it was Neil Gaiman’s books, which confused them.🤣 I’ve sorted it out with them now, thanks to you!
And thanks always for your kindness, dear Rae, and your love of fun and magic. It’s a wanderful approach to life that you embody!
You’re welcome lovely Mel, I love it when the thing you’ve been looking for finds you! ☺️ I think Neil Gaiman co-authored Good Omens with Terry Pratchett so you were also right! ☺️
Right after I read this, Melanie, I came across this article from the SPLC. An odd coincidence. These good Christians are actually casting evil spells and preaching hate as a way to prove ones love for god (lower case intentional).
As usual, I did enjoy reading your article. Even though it is sad to remember such things, you added your delightful magic.

You are the loveliest human and I am blessed to have you in my life. 🥰
Ditto Amigo 🥰

Thanks Mike… I like good magic!
As I said in my response on FB, this kind of thing is as sad as the witch hunts of long ago. I guess hatred never goes away.😞
I go back to this quote often: “It always makes me proud to love the world somehow- hate's so easy compared.” -Jack Kerouac
Mel I think you are just getting a little bit too old for riding on Unicorns!!!
But if you really want to know if someone is a witch, you must have a duck!

Tomás, one is never too old for riding a unicorn! Never. 🦄
Hilarious Monty Python clip! 🦆
