Isn't that the beauty of these older people (people, our age) that we get to spend time with these days? They have been to the deep wells of life and look out with eyes of wisdom, appreciating every sparkling drop of water and velvet green moss. Love you Melanie.
It’s true, Michelle, after so much of life we seem to have a deeper well of gratitude. I’m so thankful for you! Love that you mentioned the sparkling water drops and velvet green moss! I love you dear friend.😘
Inspiring words as always Melanie, “The deep well of my heart now feels more capable of holding both woe and wonder.” This is the truth of devastating experiences, whilst they open up a well of pain they can also expand our well of love.
Thank you for the lovely video, seeing the natural beauty of England always inspires me, Woodwell is now on my list of places I must visit!
Thanks, as always, for your thoughtful response, Rae. Yes, it certainly seems that really deep transformation only occurs in the aftermath of suffering. I don’t know why it works that way and I wish suffering wasn’t necessary, but it is. I guess if suffer we must, it’s good to know that something really good will come if it.
Silverdale is gorgeous and you can stop and visit me on the way, or I’ll meet you there!
I’m currently in Alaska visiting family and it’s -40f today. Brrrr🥶
But all is well!
Looking forward to your next blog, hint, hint, but no pressure.🤣
Haha you’ve noticed my absence! I keep getting half way through posts and never finishing them 🙈 I shall get there though, in the meantime I’m very much enjoying reading yours.
I can feel a van trip coming on, it’d be great to meet you in the wilds!
Try to stay warm in beautiful Alaska ❄️ Bet y our family are loving having you there ☺️
