Another delightful piece, Melanie! Reminds me of rhododendrons found in the Himalayan ranges in India. We boil the flowers, add some sugar & lemon & ice to the mix & make a lovely refreshing drink!
Wow that’s one angry farmer 🤣 Good job they don’t have shotguns in Ireland 🤣
Ah Mel you’re delighting me with all this wonderful scenery, only today I was lamenting to my husband that we haven’t got the kids over to Ireland yet & here you are regaling me with stunning pics.
My friend says it’s been unseasonably sunny for weeks so enjoy it, sounds like you’ve got the luck of the Irish ☘️😘
Hope you’re enjoying Galway and have an amazing time on the rest of your trip ☺️
I can’t thank you enough, dear lovely Rae, for recommending Achill Island, Keem Beach and all the other great advice you gave me for this trip! It’s been so brill!
We didn’t love Galway but we’re in Doolin now and it’s beautiful.
Yes, the weather has been ah-mazing! Never thought you could get sunburnt in Ireland but we did! Tomorrow is supposed to be nice and then I think my luck is gonnna run out. We shall make the most of every day here on the Emerald Isle.
Haha Mel! I think of you whenever we encounter sheep -which is often! It’s so gorgeous here!
Just yesterday I was contemplating crossing a field but decided against it saying to myself, “Not gonna piss off another Irish farmer!” There’s no right to roam here!

Wow that sounds delicious, Mohika! Thank you for the recipe… I will try it! And thank you for your kind words and your presence.
hey hey baby rock on as it looks as if you treat farmers as I treat bicyclists in SF. Ask Georgi :o))
A tasty stew it is, when rocking on the road and rolling
